The following is a transcript of a brief interview with Mayor Tuna ahead of Moorwood's fifth election.
Mayor Tuna: Hi there, ex-mayor Spartan! Great to sit down once again with you!
Spartan: I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to answer a couple questions
Mayor Tuna: Of course! Transparency is key afterall!
Spartan: With Moorwood's fifth election coming up tomorrow, do you have any ideas of what you'll do once you're no longer in office?
Mayor Tuna: Well, having come from an area of business expertise, I will be focusing more on how I can work to improve the town from the private sector. Hopefully working in accordance with the government.
Spartan: Of course, much of your past business experience was reflected in how you ran the town, it will be interesting to see you return to the private sector
Mayor Tuna: The job doesn't stop when the title is gone! There's plenty to be done, and I would want to work to make sure the next Mayor doesn't ruin the work I have done!
Spartan: Well speaking of how you ran the town, how do you feel about everything that you've completed during your time in office?
Mayor Tuna: Well, first off I just want to say how grateful I am for the people to have counted on me and believed in my vision throughout the past 2 weeks. It really has been most illuminating to adhere to the towns needs and musts! Lots of great things have happened during my tenure as Mayor, excellent things! The boom of the economy to start, freedom of the press to report on whatever they wish - and have done as such indeed! The vast improvement to our environment and public health!
Spartan: All great things to be sure. What would you say was your greatest achievement
Mayor Tuna: More money in the peoples' pockets and the flourish of wildlife is for sure my legacy!
Spartan: Well, before we wrap up here i'd just like to ask one final question. What advice would you give to any incoming administration in the future?
Mayor Tuna: Well, I definitely shan't by shying away from the world of politics! I'd like to work closely with the next administration to ensure a great and graceful transition of power! I would advise that they don't let the town run into a dark age, and allow for its continued progression - and to have a keen focus on business!
Spartan: Wise words, thank you very much for your time!
Mayor Tuna: Thank you too!
