After the last two weeks under Mayor Tuna's administration, many townsfolk have been left wondering who would be next to run the beautiful town of Moorwood.
As we approached the weekend it seemed more and more likely that we would default into a third week of the Mayor Tuna, but on Friday, January 24th, Adarí decided to announce their bid for mayor.
Citizens of Moorwood!
After much consideration I have decided to run for Mayor. My goal is simple, to put an end to the current administration and put power back in the hands of the people. 🤝 If you would like to see a list of some of my policies, please check the board outside of the Town hall.
Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
-Adarí

With this surprise announcement also came the reveal of their policies:
- A flat tax of 1 silver per person.
- The construction of a new library, bringing knowledge to all!
- Enbracing Diversity. No more bans on religious symbols.
- Titles for all! Apply for a title of your choosing
- A safer Moorwood. Establishing a town guard.
- Love not War! Diplomatic relations with Granite Town.
Adarí's Time in Moorwood
A small business owner, Adarí is the local apothecary in the town of Moorwood, providing quality potions to the townsfolk.

Past Controversy
Like all of our past mayors, Adarí is no stranger to political controversy. On December 29th, 2024, Mayor Ewan tried them as the main suspect in a string of religiously motivated acts of vandalism.

The trial ended in a guilty verdict and the prompt execution of Adarí, however, it seemed that their devotion to The Great Sog protected them from harm and allowed them to live another day.

Religious Work
As an ardent follower of The Great Sog, Adarí has been a vocal opponent of Mayor Tuna's crackdown on religious expression, constructing a temple in the lake of Moorwood dedicated to the worship of the great squid. This past is of course reflected in the proposed policies, "No more bans on religious symbols".
