Mayor Tuna Closes out Term With Worrying PSA

Tonight we were promised a showing of a supposed new film titled Once Upon a Time in Moorwood, but what we got instead was a PSA from Mayor Tuna and Lord Ewan.

It started out rather tame, with some typical insults thrown at the rival candidate and a quick recap of what the administration had accomplished. But as it went on, it became clear that this wasn't just a simple goodbye. Mayor Tuna was taking this opportunity to demonize everyone from the "evil press" to the "evil religious heretics."

Mayor Tuna then announced his final act as mayor, to appoint Lord Ewan as "Lord Mayor of Granite Town". Given the recent events taking place in Granite Town, it is no surprise that Mayor Tuna would use their power over the town to continue enriching himself and those closest to him.

Lord Ewan then takes the time to explain what he will be doing as "Lord Mayor of Granite Town". He begins by describing the three "Rs".

  1. Rebrand
  2. Renounce
  3. Reclaim

Rebrand

Under the leadership of Lord Mayor Ewan, Granite Town will now be known as "Andesite Town", a name given to reflect the changes that the town has undergone recently.

Renounce

Andesite Town will be renouncing its ties to Moorwood (ties imposed on them by this administration remember) and declaring themselves a sovereign state with Lord Mayor Ewan in power. A supposed "beacon of autonomy", Andesite Town will no doubt serve as a political playground for the outgoing administration.

Reclaim

The final step consists of Andesite town claiming land and territories that "rightfully belong under the banner of 'Andesite Town'", a chilling remark from a leader who seems determined to maintain control over Moorwood.

What Does This Mean?

The short answer? We don't know. Mayor Tuna and Lord Ewan have shown themselves to be nothing short of volatile leaders, willing to do whatever it takes to maintain power.

This will certainly not be the last you hear of Chief Marshal Tuna. I wish you the best of luck with what's to come. We will win this, it's only a matter of time.

This chilling line from Mayor Tuna serves as an ominous warning of the future, it is clear that there is something big planned in the future, and we can only hope we end up with a leader who is strong enough to protect our town and the ideals it stands for.
